Solution. #2. I think you machine is having audio conflict with your motherboard audio, your graphics card audio, your new USB audio. with your old midi driver. I would remove the old midi driver and the old drivers if you don't need them. I would update the motherboard sound driver from here:
If not, then there's something wrong with the USB connection or your device. If the computer detects it then just do the following: 1. Install drivers from the Focusrite website (not beta). If the device is new, just use the CD. 2. In Ableton, ensure that ASIO is selected and not MMX. It took me a day to figure this out.

Hello everyone, A while ago I posted about this problem but unfortunately I haven't resolved it yet, and I've tried absolutely everything I could find. So I'm posting this again. My problem is this: everytime I start my computer, all sounds are in slowmotion/distorted. I use a Focusrite 2i2 usb with a Pioneer r1 controller as input and two rokit speakers as output (yes, direct monitor is off).
