Based on the threads above, it sounds very likely that the problem is not resolved by replacing the car battery (which seemed strange); rather, the problem was solved when the battery was disconnected, which would have the same effect as pulling and reinstalling a fuse.

May 21, 2012 · Posted May 23, 2012. The first build Fiesta's could never do BT autdio officialy no matter what you do. It was only a option on 2009 onwards when Ford changed it. My first MK7 Fiesta (october 08 build) had the same problem. I suspect the radio's will need changing to make it show up.

May 19, 2018 · Voice command stops working. I have a 2016 Fiesta SFE Ecoboost with the basic SYNC radio (not SYNC 3). Occasionally, the voice command system stops working and no longer responds to my voice. The only way to fix this, is to disconnect the battery, wait at least a minute, and then reconnect the battery. Then I have to delete my phone and re-pair
Nov 22, 2016 · Try disconnecting the positive connection from the battery, touch it to the earth terminal or bare metal part in the engine bay (to discharge residual charge on the system) and then leave disconnected for about 10 minutes to reset the ECU.
